Cultural and religious festivals
Join in with our annual Navratri (festival of nine nights) celebrations held in Forum Hall during October.
During this festival, Hindus worship three manifestations of Brahman – Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati. Hindus tell the story of the goddess Durga’s nine-day battle and victory over the demon Mahishasura. Du is worshipped for her power.
